I didn't realise it had been more than 2 years since I posted here.

The good news though... in the next month or so I will be MOVING!!!

*does a virtual happy dance*

The paperwork is going through, once that's done, then the modifications to the bathroom etc can be done then I can begin my new life!!!

I bid on several properties when the last list came out, not expecting anything as I was warned most bungalows were not wheelchair accessible.

So you can imagine my astonishment when I had a call offering me a bungalow, although they don't know if it is accessible.

Anyway when they called yesterday I had been dozing so I wasn't very awake.

Had a call back from the housing people

They confirmed that I didn't get the bungalow, stated the housing association that owns it declared it would not have been possible to adapt it for wheelchair use (more like they couldn't be bothered).

Well at least they did call me.
