Poor Jack, feeling so alone and trapped, and knowing he's got no escape. And the Doctor and Rose, recognising him and missing their Jack. I love, too, the little glimpse of the Doctor still missing the Time Lord elements he's lost in this new body.

Now I'll have to go and re-read the other two stories in the series to see the three of them happy!

Wow, you really did your research into espionage - I could really feel the strength of Jack's military training, how deeply it's ingrained into his instincts. I also love that he's intimidated when he finds out who Rose is, as well he ought to be!
