This is why I tell myself to wait until a story is complete before reading it. Especially, with a well-written, suspenseful story like this one. Hopefully, there will be a new chapter soon. Happy Holidays!

If Rose is pretending to be Simon's sister, why would she use a Rim accent instead of her natural one?

Rose's natural accent is so unusual as to be comment-worthy, and besides, we know the folks who are chasing her are looking for someone with a Dyton accent. She's not able to do a convincing Core accent, so she did what she could while she was thinking on her feet. It's not a perfect solution, but it was the best she (and Simon) could come up with on the fly. :)

Just discovered this, and I NEED MORE!!!!!!!!!!!

Firefly and Doctor Who, are the two closest fandoms to my heart, and anyone who can write a crossover like this....is fantastic.

Will definitely be watching this for updates, which I hope will come quickly. Looks hopeful.
