i fear that i am the one guilty of the costume spoilage... and for that i apologize. i debated for a long time whether to put a cut in but in the end i decided that if i was going to do the picspam, the quote needed to be read first, but the picspam deserved to be above the cut, so i was in a real quandry.

i'm sorry.

Hmm. I haven't read my whole flist yet - do I want to avoid your journal? Because while I don't exactly think costuming is a spoiler per se.....I'd still rather not know.

There is mention of one item of clothing that 11 wears in the context of a semi-intellectual discussion of said clothing item. It is above the cut. You can look at the lovely pix and just not read the text and remain unspoiled.

No, it's a valid concern on your part. So many people don't mind spoilers, they forget that the smallest detail can be a spoiler. (Like, say, the existence of 10.5, which really was a spoiler of a sort.)

But people's journals are just that, "their" journals and they are not required to cut.

If you don't want to unfriend the spoilers, then perhaps you can filter your reading lists.

This is true, but it's also a mark of courtesy within fandom that people cut spoilers, so as not to spoil others. If there are folks who don't want to cut their journals, that's their right and their prerogative, and if they'll let me know that, I'll take them off my filter. :)

Edit: I just edited my entry to reflect this--thanks for being so polite when I was being a bit of a bitch. :)
