you sound like me when i got back in April. i was, and still am, seriously contemplating seeing if i can get hired as a 24/7 online reference librarian... because i can do that from anywhere in the world and they don't have any music librarians doing it - they're all generalists... *seriously* I even know someone who manages an online reference service in Essex. I've already emailed her.
man, it would be cool if you could manage to go! I can't wait to go!! :) get a dang ticket! *crosses fingers* hey post some pics to the hamlet group too,or if you want i can use your photobucket links and put them there also? hope that shirt comes soon btw :P hugs! i saw your mum later saturday at FM...lol okay more later hugs
I know EXACTLY how you feel. I went to grad school in England - lived there for four years - and really would have seriously considered staying if there had been any jobs in my field. I was back for two weeks earlier this summer (first visit in ten years) and it seriously felt like I was coming home in many ways.
My dream is to have a little flat in London - outskirts of the city maybe, someplace not too pricey - to spend summers and stuff in when we retire. My wonderful husband totally supports me in this, even though he's only been to England once in his whole life.
