Second, now that dark_aegis has told me which one is yours... I loved that story. I thought it was far and away the best of the crop this week on the LAS, and that's why I voted for it. Yes, I was the one positive vote, and when I saw the results this morning I was stunned. It was wonderful - the structure, the emotion, the chronicling of the beginning of a relationship. Absolutely perfect and so memorable.

I don't have anything against the story which won, and I do as a rule love rosa_acicularis's work, but to me it was forgettable fluff. Enjoyable, but it doesn't stick in the mind, whereas yours did. So hold your head high :)
