Before you ask, yes, the story's pace is quite slow compared to "With This Baby" because I can't seem to find my ground when I first write this story xD Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed it? :D
The Game We Play
Pairings: Aiba Masaki/Matsumoto Jun, Ninomiya Kazunari/Sakurai Sho, Ohno Satoshi/Ikuta Toma, Tegoshi Yuuya/Masuda Takahisa
Rating: PG-13
Genre: Romance, Drama, AU
Summary: Four princes of JE academy were bored with their always-the-same lives. So they decided to play a game that will change their life forever.
A/N: It's a complete AU, means all the characters have different personality from their real life version. It's my challenge to see whether I can get it to work. And because I love Aiba/Jun so much I have to write something about them.
In this fic, Aiba is a real jerk (but a softie at heart) and an animal lover, Jun CAN actually sing, Nino is the playboy with bitter past, Sho CAN actually draw, and Ohno is not quiet.
Other than that, enjoy the story!

3 Chapter 4
Sho was sure by now that something wrong must have happened.
Ninomiya Kazunari, the renowned playboy of JE academy, has been hovering around him for a week, and that’s just plain weird.
Sho had heard about Nino hated innocent (be it boys or girls) so fiercely that he refused to even be in their presence more than a second. So, when Nino started hanging out with Sho, who is (supposed to be) an innocent, people started gossiping that Sho must be Nino’s next target. Nino hated innocent, but if he could change them and taint them to point of no return, he would take up the challenge.
And that was what Sho suspected exactly, even though he didn’t have any proof for it. It was just a rumor.
Even still, having Nino hanging around with him for yet another day was unnerving him. It wasn’t that he’s afraid of getting tainted by Nino like how the rumors had said since he had already being tainted long time ago. He was even hardly innocent. It’s the fact that he didn’t know what Nino was planning mad him worried.
He gulped down his water while he stared intently at the bubbly man who spoke like a rocket. Nino has been talking for over than 30 minutes without stopping and he wondered how someone so tiny could talk so fast.
“And the last time I checked it, he didn’t even have the girl’s name in his phonebook! Don’t you think this is ridiculous?”
Sho blinked. What was Nino talking about again?
“I told him to get laid once or twice but he never listened to me. That stupid boy might live his entire life alone! Well, that’s just horrible! He’s the cousin of the great Ninomiya Kazunari, he should have at least get divorced thrice, right?”
Ah, right. They were talking about Nino’s cousin, Tegoshi Yuuyaa. He finally remembered about it. But Nino was still talking rapidly and Sho didn’t get the chance to reply to his question. So he chose the right way (or at least it was right for him) by staying silence until he has been asked upon.
“But lately that boy seems happy. He even asked me what kind of present you should give to someone whom you like. My answer for him was, he should give them contraceptive tools.”
Sho, who was drinking his water again when Nino mentioned about contraception, choked on his water. He gulped down the water with much difficulty and coughed out loud that Nino had to pat his back to make him feel better.
“I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to surprise you!” Nino apologized quickly while he patted Sho’s back. He felt bad for surprising the man. It’s not his plan to choke Sho to death. He just wanted to seduce him.
“Are you okay?” Nino asked, and was relieved when Sho nodded his head. His cough finally subsided. “Do you need more water?”
Sho shook his head this time. “It’s okay, I don’t need water anymore. I was just… surprised. That’s all.”
“I’m sorry again.” Nino stroked Sho’s back carefully, afraid that he would cough again. “I’m talking without thinking again, am I?”
Sho felt shiver running down his spine when Nino’s hand once again making contact on his back. The stroke was supposed to be calming, but to Sho, it was electrifying. He didn’t like this kind of feeling, especially if it was coming from Nino, so he quickly straightened up on his seat, effectively shrugging off Nino’s hand from his back.
“I’m okay, really.”
“I’m glad so then.” Nino wanted to ask Sho again whether the boy was really okay, but the bell rang suddenly signaling him that his next class would be starting soon. He happened to have an extra class today with Tegoshi for their economy class.
“Look, do you have a schedule tomorrow?” Nino asked as he got up from his seat and start putting his belongings that were scattered on the cafetaria’s table into his bag. He had to hurry because he knew that Tegoshi wouldn’t be pleased if he arrived late for the class. Tegoshi always lectured him that arriving at class punctually was how good student should behave.
“No. Why?”
“Tomorrow is Saturday and we have no classes, so let’s go somewhere. It’s boring to stay in the dorm all the time, right?”
“You are asking me out?”
“Well, you could say it like that. So, it’s a yes or no?”
Sho actually wanted to reject Nino but somehow his mouth refused to follow his brain’s instruction. What he said was totally different from what he had thought.
“Yes, of course.” He replied.
Nino smiled brightly at Sho’s answer. “I’ll go to your dorm tomorrow to pick you up.” And before Sho could say anything, Nino had already disappeared out of sight. Sho couldn’t help but wondering how Nino could pick him up at his dorm when he didn’t even knew his dorm’s room number?

Having someone to be by your side whenever you need them was a whole new experience for Tegoshi.
True, he has his best friends who would always be there for him, cheering for him and taking care of him. But to be showered with love whole-heartedly by that special someone, that someone who looked upon you admiringly like you were the only one in this world he could be happy with, was the one that made this whole dating thing to be very interesting.
At the very least, that was what Tegoshi thought when he saw Masuda running towards him the moment the boy saw him. Masuda waved his hand excitedly at him and cute was the first thing that came to Tegoshi’s mind. He waved back to Masuda with an action of what he thought - a cool manner.
“Tegoshi-kun!”
Tegoshi frowned at how Masuda addressed him. Wasn’t Masuda supposed to be his boyfriend? He should be calling him by some pet names rather than addressing him so formally like that.
“Tegoshi-kun, what are you doing here? I never thought that I’d see you walking around here.”
“I want to see you.”
Masuda smiled brightly. “See me? Wow, I don’t know that I’m so important to you.”
Tegoshi smiled back. “Sure, if that’s what you want to believe.”
When Masuda pouted, Tegoshi laughed and ruffled the boy’s hair affectionately. “Actually, I want to ask you some questions.”
“Questions? What questions?”
“About Matsumoto Jun.”
Masuda looked surprised at the mention of his friend’s name. “Jun? Why do you want to know about him?”
“I’ve told you about who’s Aiba’s target, right? It’s Matsumoto Jun. So I want to know more about him.”
“But, for what? I think Aiba-san should be the one who come here and ask me questions.”
Tegoshi chuckled. “Even if this world comes to an end, I’m sure that Aiba wouldn’t be able to ask anything about Jun. He may look tough, but actually he is quite shy in personality.”
Masuda just wanted to laugh at the last statement. Aiba Masaki? Shy? What a joke.
Masuda had seen just how cruel Aiba could be when one of the students broke the rule by going to a night club and ended up getting into trouble. He had re-told the story to Jun (even though his friend didn’t believe that someone could be that cruel) and warned his friend to run as fast as he possible if he encountered Aiba. It seemed like Jun’s luck was not that good. He ended up as Aiba’s target for this silly game after all.
“Aiba Masaki-san is shy? You must be kidding me.”
“I am not.” Tegoshi was offended because Masuda didn’t buy his story. Maybe Aiba was not known as the nicest person in this academy but he had a reason to do so. He has to do his job as the president of the student council, therefore he had to be strict or else the students would not respect him at all.
“Sure, sure, I believe you.” Masuda said. But Tegoshi knew that Masuda didn’t believe him at all. “What do you want to know about Jun?”
Well, what was important for Tegoshi, was to collect as much information as he could about Jun. As for whether Masuda believed him or not that Aiba was really a nice man, he could discuss this matter with Masuda another time.
“About his background, hobby, habit, everything, I want to know all about Matsumoto Jun-san.”
“Sure, I can tell you about it too.”
“And about Sakurai Sho too.”
“I could give you the information, but what would I get as a reward?”
“Ice cream?” Tegoshi offered.
“Ice cream sounds nice!” Masuda smiled. “Then let’s meet tomorrow at the ice cream stand. How is it?”
“Deal! I’ll meet you there tomorrow then. See you.”
“See you.”

If Aiba didn’t know what nervous breakdown was before, he surely knew it now. He’s been a nervous wreck since yesterday, making plans in his mind about his date with Jun.
His plan was to bring Jun to the park, take a leisure walk around it, and then enjoy a peaceful picnic session under the shade of a big cherry tree. It would be all romantic and he’s sure that he could steal one or two kisses before their date ends. It all planned so beautifully by his genius brain and he was sure that this would be a perfect date.
If everything went along like how he wanted it to be, it would surely be romantic. He might even get crown for being such a caring and nice date. But of course, his target unfortunately was not called clumsy Jun for nothing if he didn’t get into an accident or two at least once a day.
When they were walking around the park enjoying the autumn breeze, Jun managed to trip over his own delicate (but beautiful) feet, falling with his arms flailing in a cute way. He even dragged Aiba down with him when he tried to search for something to balance himself. The worst accident of all the falling and tumbling episodes, Jun was successfully thrown into the lake near the park by a running kid (and that kid was really, really tiny). A horrifying shriek came out of his mouth when he got himself landed into the cold pool of water. Aiba had to help Jun to stand up because the latter was too shocked to pull himself out of his trouble.
Aiba sighed. This should be a romantic evening for him and Jun (and he had even planned for everything!). How this turned out to be a disaster was way beyond Aiba’s imaginations.
Sitting under the big cherry tree shade in the park, Jun was sneezing violently and felt his body freezing after dipping in the lake. Fortunately, Aiba was wearing his sweater since he predicted the weather to be cold. He took it off and gave it to Jun (who refused it at first, but when he sneezed again, he decided to take it so reluctantly) so that he could take off his wet shirt and dry it. Jun laid his shirt onto the picnic blanket that Aiba had prepared to cool it off.
“I’m sorry, Aiba-san.” Jun started apologizing after he gained enough warmth. Aiba gave him the hot tea that he brought it in a flask (Aiba made a mental note to thank the cook later for preparing it) to warm Jun’s body from the cold. “I didn’t know why I’m that clumsy.”
“It’s okay. Don’t mind it.” Aiba offered some hot tea but Jun kindly declined it. He was already warm enough and hunger was taking over him, so he asked if he could eat those tasty looking sandwiches instead.
“Sure, help yourself.” Aiba said.
Jun shouted his cheerful “Thanks!” and then took the big sandwich from the basket (it was tuna sandwich, his favorite!) and took a big bite of it. Jun was too engrossed in munching his sandwich thath he didn’t notice Aiba’s predatory stare being casted on him. If he did see it, maybe he could anticipate to what would happen next when Aiba started leaning closer towards him.
And that it wouldn’t end up so embarrassingly like that.
Jun was surprised when Aiba grabbed his chin a little roughly and tilted his head upwards. That was when Jun saw the hunger and lust in Aiba’s eyes. Jun panicked for a second before he relaxed. It was just Aiba and it wasn’t like they haven’t kissed before.
Jun closed his eyes when Aiba’s face only centimeters away from his face, being ready to accept whatever Aiba wanted to do to him. Perhaps he could feel that excitement once again - the giddiness and something else that he couldn’t describe that he’d experienced them three months ago when Aiba kissed him in the back garden.
That’s when Aiba’s harsh words that were thrown right at him after their kissing episode three months ago registered in Jun’s brain.
“You behave like a slut.”
Jun totally freaked out. No, no, no! His mind screamed. He didn’t want Aiba to say that words again to him, because it hurt him three months ago and it would surely hurt him again if Aiba ever said those words again at him. He didn’t want Aiba to kiss him just to call him “slut” in the end. He had to stop the kiss.
But it was Jun.
Normal people would shout stop or turn their heads away so that the kiss would not be directed into their lips directly.
Clumsy people like Jun didn’t do normal things mentioned above. Instead he shoved whatever he was holding at that time in his hand into Aiba’s mouth. Jun was just glad it was the sandwich that he was munching a moment ago before Aiba decided to kiss him.
“Mpmhhphh!!!”
Jun took the chance when Aiba was confused about what had just happened to shove the boy away from him. Poor Aiba who was still shocked and dazed because he only needed to lean a bit closer, just a little bit closer, and he would finally be able to claim that lips again he’d been wanting to kiss since their first encounter three months ago. He couldn’t react in time when Jun pushed him so he ended up falling on his back with a half-eaten sandwich stuck in his mouth.
This, was surely the perfect way to spend a romantic evening with your lovely partner.
