TERF Wars (Part One)

If you have sometimes called someone a TERF (Trans Exclusive Radical Feminist), do me a favor: list some non trans-exclusive radical feminist activists, radical feminist writings and books, etc. Describe the radical feminist insights and concepts you find most inspiring. I much prefer the acronym Feminism Appropriating Reactionary Transphobes (FART) to TERF. More accurately describes them imo, since the version of feminism I encounter from them is more hateful than radical, by far. More pedantic and predictable than radical.

I still recall the first time I met some feminist lesbian separatists in the early 80s while volunteering for a "gay helpline" at a campus organization at university. They'd definitely qualify as radical feminists by anyone's measure. Though warned by some well-meaning gay men to avoid them because they wouldn't speak to men, that wasn't my experience of them at all. Instead, they talked warmly with me when the men weren't there. Also recommended books for me to read.
