Denying Being Gay or Trans: Pink Elephants in the Living Room

I was around 8 or 9 years old when I first experienced the boys' bathroom as an unsafe place. A lot of decent folk (including you and I) would like to kill off bullying. Most of us recognize that this can't be accomplished by outlawing specific justifications for bullying. If we outlaw homophobic bullying, for example, the same bullies will find another justification for bullying the same victims. The same is true for any justification we might outlaw, and even for any combination of justifications. In that context, your story doesn't matter. We need to kill bullying. All bullying.

History has passed you by. We now live in a world where genderqueering is something that spiritually advanced cis het men do, much as they might do psychotropic drugs. Neuroqueering too, if you're interested. Enjoy this new freedom to be who you are! Do what you can to kill off bullying, but enjoy!

It is true that Ahunter3 doesn't get much (if any?) negative reaction to his gentle way of being in the world, these days. That's something.

Down with bullying, I agree!
