Not too terribly long ago, on a message board just the usual internet-distance far far away (the Absolute Write Water Cooler, to be precise), I bravely asserted that all this is just the first year, and that I was going to keep plugging away at this for at least 10 years before before calling it quits ( Read more... )

All it takes is one yes, and then you have a publisher. Don't Give Up. Reply as well as you can to this positive reply, and if it doesn't work, Don't Give Up!

You could always change the names, names of places, and call it Science Fiction! Or worse, Fantasy!!! (sorry, I know I'm terrible)

I was thinking my next tactic would be to market it as "Young Adult" fiction.
