I bet (if they are indeed guilty) that when asked even they have no idea why they did this.

"just 'cuz." is the reply I expect.

This is going to make me sound like an utter Nazi, but I am increasingly of the opinion that this kind of behaviour needs to be bred out of the human gene pool via genetic selection.

I agree. People have linked me to being a Nazi because I have argued in favour of the Eugenics.
Sadly it's still inextricably linked to Nazism and is admittedly likely to be used for negative ends by most.
