Ooh the pieces for the quilt all look so pretty together! I'm excited to see how that will turn out. And the ts2 cover made me laugh a lot.

I'm excited to see how it will turn out too. Once I have more of it done, I'll post more pictures. It's a regular quilting saga over here. :p

So I pretty much just said all of this on Yahoo, but to reiterate:
The sim pictures cracked me up and I love it. I fully support you actually using it in a chapter, lol.

OMG the quilt. The patterns and colours are absolutely gorgeous and I love the way everything flows. And the shapes! I love them, and I wish I knew what they're called. I shall call them awesomeograms for now.

Hooray for the new computer! New computers are always good, even if they are mammoth and have glowing blue pieces. :D

I'm half tempted to use it as a cover. It would be so random. But then I'd feel the need to make every cover unrelated to the story and who knows where that would lead. I know All About Style has some Gone With the Wind skins. Can you picture Asphodel as Rhett?

I pawed through my mother's fabric stash and went on many, many hunts to find the right colors. It was all treasure hunty. :)
I don't know what to call them either, but I fully support the awesomeograms name.

Lol, the front glows blue too a little bit. When it's late at night and I don't have any lights on it's sort eerie.

Actually I can see Asphodel as Rhett, but I really can see him in a couple of other things from Judie's collection. The green one from Dracula, or the black and maroon from Phantom. Val I can imagine in the Red and Gold, that I believe is from Phantom.

Oh I also forgot, congrats on the computer!

Pity there aren't any Raoul outfits. Val would make a better Raoul than Phantom, although, yeah, I could see that for Asphodel.

Hee, now you're just encouraging me to consider it in earnest.

Oh God Aqua. I was in Elementary school when they were popular. I have many memories of being 9 and dancing around to Barbie Girl. And I never thought of the Indiana Jones reference before either. Granted when I was nine I'm not sure I'd ever seen Indiana Jones...[/rambling] That cover cracks me up way too much.

The quilt looks like it's going to turn out very cool too :)

Lol, ramble away! Your thoughts about Barbie Girl sound a lot like how I feel about Cotton Eye Joe (which I also really enjoy... I have a thing for annoying songs, I guess). It was played at every school dance in middle school and everybody did that stupid stomping dance thing.

I was always a little sad that most people usually only know Barbie Girl. But, then again, if they know Barbie Girl and don't like it, chances are they won't like any of Aqua's other songs either.

The quilt looks awesome, Ruby! I might have to mention it to the ladies in my family that actually know and enjoy sewing.

I've never heard of Aqua, but that's okay, if you love them great! Val and Ruby covers are hilarious and super well done. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you!

Never heard of Aqua? NEVER? That's sadness! That's awful and woe and... and, actually, you're probably better off. Aqua is definitely an acquired taste.

Computer Geek Comment - You shouldn't leave a PC on sitting on a rug if at all possible. It doesn't really help with air flow. If there's room under your computer, you may want to set it on a cinderblock or something similar, so the little feeties underneath raise it up enough to get air flow underneath.

Other Comments - I LOVE THE COVERS! It makes me want to see you do a whole Indiana Jones style side story for your legacy. Of course, it also makes me envious because I wanted something Indiana Jones esque for Elijah to wear when I was doing his quest, but I couldn't find anything I liked. Admittedly, it was pre-AL hats, but still, those pants are lovely!

The quilt looks really really pretty and I covet it. :)

I know, I know. It doesn't seem to run hot and I hit it with an air can at the end of every week, but it still worries me. There really isn't any room under there to lift it. It barely fits as it is. The only other option I have is to put it completely behind the desk. It might fit back there on blocks. The main problem is then part of it would be right up agains the heat duct and I can't imagine that would be a good thing in winter. I've been trying to figure out how I could rearrange furniture in my room so that it's not a problem, but that's easier said than done. I have way too much furniture for such a small room.

And Indiana Jones style would be fun to play with, but I'm having plenty of problems just trying to make everything come together for Galahad's quest. Lol, I'm so loathe to call it that because I hate to be compared to you and the wonderful job you did with Elijah.
I think the pants are from All About Style.

Thank you. :)
