The most amazing thing to happen on Passions recently: Endora magically putting she and Tabitha in the middle of her fairy tale book, a fairy tale (cartoon) version of the drama between Kay and Fox. The most amazing part was when "Lady Ivy of Crain" turned into a dragon. Of course, the whole situation just highlighted the lack of emotion in all ( Read more... )

It being ahimsa114's LJ and that she chose to put it in here, I would have to say that yes, it is.

Besides, I can't think of a better reason for something to get written about that "it makes me happy."

If you end up living at Yuma next year, I think you'll come to realize how LJ worthy the ever predictable, yet none-the-less ridiculously insane drama of Passions can be...

I mean how often do characters in soap operas transport themselves into the cartoon world of a childrens book ( Bedknobs and Broomsticks style... minus the Bedknobs and Angela Lansbury..) which coincidenally happens to mirror the "real life" ( as in.. not cartoon-y) tension between two characters?

It's kind of wonderful...

Of course, the whole situation just highlighted the lack of emotion in all of the actors' voices.

Ha! I can just imagine. I love Passions, at least in that sense that I wonder at from afar since I keep forgetting to tape it, but the acting? Is not why. Hell, given how often they have to repeat the same lines over and over (yes, Liz, I'm looking at you) I'm just impressed they stay awake.

Also, I enjoy everything you post -- serious or silly or rage-filled or academic or whatever. :)
