Marie, I’m worried that scanky_chops would have joined ASA earlier but she didn’t know it existed. *Frets* D’you think we ought to advertise more?

Hey, d’you think you could do a poll post saying “How did you discover ASA?” With options like word of mouth, LJ interests, search engine etc?

I can't speak for the other mods, but I personally love the idea of advertising more =) Mainly because I think that our pimping efforts/picspams would be maximized to the fullest the wider the readership of the comm: That is, what's the point of spamming pics if only 20 people end up reading the posts. But on the flipside, we risk gaining newbs members who might not be familiar with our sense of humour (we do have a distinct flavor of crack, lol), or worse, cause a divide between "old" and "new" membs (I've seen this happen in other comms) - but for the most part, I very much welcome the idea of promoting ASA; where do you think should we pimp/promote the comm? Possibly in comms whose members probably fit the existing mould of our audience on ASA rn-- that is, if such a similarly cracked out audience exists, lol
