I loveeee this idea !

Wonder who the prettiest squad will be ? I have an idea but I will say nothing yet ! :P

Italians should most definately have extra points. I am part Italian, so slightly biased ;)

Well, judging from the evidence so far, I'd say Sampdoria are the prettiest. They also have a high proportion of Italians, so it could be interesting...

Of course they should have extra points - it has nothing to do with bias, it's an Italian league!

Thank you! (Although I may have to resort to desperate measures to prevent Juve from running away with it. *g*)

Is there any way you can give Amauri negative points for nationality? I know this hurts my zebras, but it seems wholesome and proper to me.

I must say, I love the man an inordinate amount, but he quite possibly does deserve to have a point deducted for his vacillation...

Thanks for considering it. I have to say, I don't get the Amauri love. On my broadcast of the WCQ yesterday, they were gushing about what a great addition he would be to the Azzurri as if it were a foregone conclusion, and the press in general seems to adore him. Ick. What I see is a lot of effort and thrashing about and sweaty hair flying around and nothing actually going in the goal.

Also, I love ADP an inordinate amount. But that doesn't mean that Amauri's press statements last season (Miccoli is better than ADP ever was, and sideways attempts to blame ADP for his slump) or this season (he loves ADP now apparently) has anything to do with this. Definitely not. Nor does the fact that calling up Amauri reduces ADP's slim shot at one more world cup. Or his incomprehensible hair. Nice abs, though.

Thanks for doing this. It must be a ton of work and you must get a ton of shit.

He was just simply awesome at Palermo, and I've loved him ever since. I like to think that it's his agent causing him to make himself look such a tit lately, as I can become terribly blind where my boys are concerned. The fact remains, though, that no matter how awesome he is, he is NOT ITALIAN, and should, therefore, never even be considered for the Azzurri.

Also, Miccoli is pretty amazing. *g*

It does take a while, but I have a blast with it. Although I am being totally distracted by the tennis at the mo, so am getting shockingly little done on it.

You're very welcome! It does take a while, but it is so very worth it, because I always find someone else or six to stalk. ;)
