Are you trying to kill us? So many tight white sleeveless warmups this early in the day (where I am anyway)?

What do I know about coaching? Zero. But I liked Spal, and I'll miss him and his long-suffering eyerolling self. *wants to post favorite eyeroll foto but can't because is incompetent*

You best be thankful Philou's nipples didn't make an appearance in this set of photos ;p

I liked Spal, too, but I've recently found myself in disagreement with his tactical decisions. Like against Juventus, he played way too cautiously and allowed them to boss us around in the mid; I wasn't down with that. It'd be interesting to see what Ranieri does with this team. I remember Mourinho, he said that with the team Spal has at his disposal, he should really be winning more games given the quality of his squad (Roma). So now, I'm excited to see how Ranieri's going to use these men for maximum results.

LOL don't worry about the eyerolling pic; I have it in my mind, I know what you're tawkin' bout ;p

I figured you'd know exactly what Ima tawking bout.

DDR is going to help moderate the dressing room? This is your team, babe, but from the outside, I might have guessed that DDR was part of the lack of moderation in the dressing room. May I suggest plz to instill enough discipline in the dressing room to work more cohesively as a team, play up to potential, and win more games, but not so much discipline that they kill all the glorious pouty moody aggro manlove that makes them Roma? y/y?

Now, whose arms do I like best? Totti? Marcolino? can't decide, can't decide

Is that Tonetto up there in sleeves? I knew there was a reason he didn't make my list of imaginary boyfriends.

You know what my priorities are, I only found out about Spal's departure because I was reading all the Lobby articles. XD I hope you do better with Ranieri, though and that Doni breaks his leg.

Mhm, this just goes to show how much we can really trust Becali. Not-going-to-Roma my ass. Where's Bogdan now?!

Oh and he hasn't been presented; obvs. Ranieri hogged all the press attention ;p

BITCH IT'S ALREADY BROKEN!

Even a broken clock right twice a day 9_9

Is it? Yay! Which guy am I thinking of, then? Artur?

BAH

IDK, Artur was backup, 2nd choice to Doni, but after the Juventus match, it seems Bertagnoli is now 2nd choice, so you'd want Julio Sergio to be broken, too.

D: I see drama coming. I really don't like Ranieri, nor does my José, and this'll mean WAR. XD

Ps. No Nico :(

Oh, God, as if Roma-Inter wasn't enough of a dramafest in and of itself. The squads can't stand each other, case in point: DDR and Deki:-

The team is divided with Luciano at the helm; some wanted him out (the Romans, in particular, reportedly) and some preferring he stayed. In any event, he has proven to be ineffective at commanding the team's full participation, and has repeatedly complained himself that the team no longer follows his directions. I doubt you would want a coach like that-- who the team no longer believes in-- to be in charge.

I know, I liked him, too. He was just getting into his 5th season with us: he was to be the longest-serving coach with FIVE seasons under his belt, tying Capello's record.

changing managers didn't change Chelsea, nor Real Madrid or Bayern last season
Every club is different. We'll just have to give Ranieri a chance and judge him AFTER the season, not BEFORE his first game. I am optimistic, though; I have to be.

ICON TWINS! ♥

I agree, bb, we have to accept it. It was inevitable; either he was going to be sacked, or he was going to resign.

Zenit isn't even a certainty at this point; Spal said he was going to spend time with the family first and then travel the world. In any case, you're right, life goes on. I wish him ALL the best!
