Bremen and Shakhtar? Ouch.

[Also, the press over here will be having a fucking field day about the three EPL/Serie A match-ups. Can it be May already?]

lol I just saw Inter-United. I got (one of my) my Christmas wish(es) ♥ It's about damn time Inter draw the Red Devils; Milan have faced them and Lord knows Roma don't need another match-up with them (thrice in 2 seasons, basta!) Ricky better not be benched for this-- Cris will be wanting his kit. And Mou vs. SAF round 12938902, yes-- bring it.

I'm honestly just stunned it's not Barca -- that was the one the odds were best for, and it seemed almost inevitable (either that or Liverpool again). I'm awfully glad I'm not in England like Ruby, and will have to read the 30 billion articles about ZOMG MOURINHO-SAF between now and the middle of March.

(And if Ricky's shit, he's going to be benched. :P It's all in his hands, so to speak.)

ETA: WTF is this? Did they photoshop it? Cos Ricky's never worn 7 for Inter (or played Cris for them), but that sure looks like his little head.

I went to bed bracing myself for Madrid. I was like, "OK we beat them before (last season, in both legs), we can do it again. And they have a new coach (unsettled team?) and no Ruud; this is doable." (Not necessarily the case, but I needed to convince myself here) And lo and behold, we draw Arsenal. IDK how their form is now, but more or less, they were better last season, no? And their defense-- that's fairly breachable. It's their attack I'm worried about; they're quick and tenacious (young'uns *shakes fist*) but I'll take anyone over Cristiano. And it's gonna be a showdown of tactics between Wenger and Spal. Spal, it's time to get ballsy-- put Menez on; make it a speed vs. speed battle!

(Ah, yes. YES. Haaands.... Can Nannerz join? )

ZOMG MOURINHO-SAF
Srsly, Fates! What's wrong with Inter-Madrid, or Roma-Villareal? Whai so cruel pairing us up with the Prem teams?

I just saw pics of MAGGIO SIGNING THE NAPOLI Calendar. LOLOL once I get my hands on scans, you will not hear the end of your coconut boo >;p

Man, you would have been fired up for Real, wouldn't you? You guys played great against them last year, and they're just terrible right now. Arsenal beat all the good team and lose to shit ones, that's totally scary, I agree. Less scary than United, though. If IRC and WuSam can stay healthy, I don't think they'll put seven on Inter, but I still think Inter will have a similar problem to the one they did with Liverpool -- not being able to settle down agains that annoying, OMG FASTER EPL style.

(EW NO! He can wait and home while Cris goes to "help" Ricky..)

*GLARES* I hate him so much, I can't tell you how much he grosses me out. *shudder* I saw those pics, so pissed Lavezzi's already at home and is missing out on all the fun. ): I think the calendar just came out today, so give it a few days to turn up! I'm looking for it on ebay, too, but I'll rip out and send you the Maggio pages if I find it. :P

AC Milan better kick Bremen's ass and I'll be on the top of the world if Juventus does the same to Chelsea.
