1. Your picspams have turned me into a Viola fan now. I need a whole box of tissues to deal with this. *sobs* 2. I want to hug them all. They didn't deserve this. I think I am going to develop a grudge against Ranger. 3. I don't want to blame anyone, but Bobo kind of disappointed me yesterday ;( 4. Monty's celebration = Best.Thing.Ever! 5. I hope you have a nice traveling and put all these heartbreaks behind. Thank you for always posting these awesome picspams. *hugs*
1. Yay! (For the Viola fan bit, not for the tissues. Obviously. *hugs*) 2. Jorgy's face and Gobbi kneeling on the ground just KILL ME. 3. Bobo was awful but, to be fair to him, no one finished, you know? *sigh* 4. Totally agreed! &hearts 5. Thank you! (If all goes well I'll see Fiorentina's last match this season, which would go a long way to making me feel better! If they make CL, that is. Crap.)
Rose and I were discussing how resigned he looking the whole time, it made me so sad. He damn well better be, the scrawny muppet! As if he needs to train these days, anyway -- the man is scoring in his sleep!
Monty is such a stud right now, football looks laughably easy for him. I don't know if Donadoni would ever cross one of his zillion Milan and/or Roma midfielders off his list, but the boy's sure making a push for an Azzurri spot.
Fucking hell, that was painful. [I caught the delayed 'cast today, and it was a world of pain. They were really good. Their finishing was so pathetic. As you say, it wasn't even a 'moving goalposts' kind of thing -- they just broke down again and again in front of goal. Rangers might have had something to do with that. It was really strange, though. They didn't even look nervous or underconfident [you know, in that way someone like Gila does, for example, when he has the ball and realises it's his job to take a shot on goal?]. Just -- not complete.]
Monty had ice in his veins, man. I need a picture or video or something of his PK celebration. Coming as it did after Kuzi's aggro, it was hilarious and cooler than the coolest thing you can imagine.
I don't think Fiorentina have looked that confident and poised many times this season. As much as the match hurt, I'm trying to see it as a sign they can play with (if not beat, ffs) anyone, and would not get killed were they to make CL next season. *crosses fingers* (I couldn't tell if Rangers had much to do with it. I mean, they must have, but they didn't strike me as play great defense, they just ... happened not to give up a goal. Which is obviously hugely unfair.)
Conny has promised me a gif icon of Monty's celebration. When it's born, I have a feeling you can use it, too. That was the greatest thing I've ever seen, I was giggling with joy at his ever-so-slight smile, and his Kobe Bryant shoulder-brushing.
I'm not really sure what to say about Pazzini Well, the ITV4 commentators had a lot to say about Pazzini. Mostly of the 'I can't believe he hasn't gone down!' variety. The bastards.
Gambit too! *does a celebratory lap of the hotel room* (God help me, even I'm liking Gambit's socks. Pity about his haircut, though.) Welcome, Ruby! *grins and hugs*
Pazzini and Mutu had clearly made a pact not to go down and not to moan last night. Lot of good it did them, though.
[I suspect Bobo accepts, pretending to be grumpy while he tries not to cry.]
(Oh alright. Though they could use the help -- I think they've won twice away all season, or something equally awful.)
[*blinks* That does help, thank you. Though I can't help thinking about the fact that Gobbi wasn't wearing a tshirt, and how wonderful things would have been had there been triumphant stripping ... *siiiiiigh*]
