I use GIMP too, but I heard somewhere that GIMP has spyware...have you heard anything about that?

my husbands passwords were stolen recently and someone charged $800 on his credit card! Luckily he caught it in time.

we don't know what happened, but at one point I had installed GIMP on his machine. I just pray it was a rumor. :(

This was just answered here in gimp_users. No, it doesn't have spyware. Just a rumor.

Me, too! It was hard, because for some reason I could never get the Help files to download. But I highly recommend checking out those communities. They're great. I'm learning one tutorial at a time, and Grokking the GIMP is also a good site.

I love that LJ Irony icon you use. It is good. I really wanted to comment on the poem though. I commented in the dailyrumi group already but I wanted to say again. I love this poem. My favorite lines are

"Where lowland is,
that's where water goes. All medicine wants
is pain to cure."

Although the last two stanzas speak so clearly to me. It really is beautiful. Thanks for sharing it again.

My pleasure! I pimped the hell out of rumi yesterday. Thanks for the feedback on the icon! I knew I'd waited too long... :P

Thank you! That's my newest one. I'm glad you like it. It's hard right now, because she's starting to cut back on nursing a lot. She may be starting to wean herself already. :(

Ivy's only 10.5 months. I nursed Eden for 18 months. But in the last week or two, Ivy has pretty much been wanting 'big girl' food. She doesn't even want her baby food. She wants to be fed what we're eating. She nurses at night, and maybe once or twice during the day. That's a BIG change, and hard on my poor boobies! LOL! Eden weaned off gradually, and I'm used to the sudden change where they get so full that they *hurt*. I need to get some green cabbage...I think that's what I heard.

I just found this and I thought you would enjoy both the article and the site as well. It says that women who breastfeed are less likely to get diabetes later in life. Awesome!

Oh, that's awesome! Thanks so much! I'll look the whole site over in depth when I have a bit more time. I've bookmarked it, though. And I'll likely be passing it on. Thanks!
