I have a lot of new friends. Welcome! Most have come from my due date community, I think, and many of them have done nifty Intro posts. I'm going to do the same, but I plan to break it up into a few different posts. Here is where I introduce you to my family.

With pictures! )

What a beautiful family! Thank you for sharing this, I learned a lot more about you. :)

Yours and Josh's story is a little similar to mine and Shaun's: I first met him in around the year 2000, when he was dating a friend of mine at the time. We spoke on and off throughout the years, starting dating in November 2011, and are now going to be married in May 2012. He's seen me at my best and my worst! Shaun is also red-haired and fair with freckles..LOL..and he is Metis (mixture of Aboriginal (Native American in the States) and European, in his case, Ojibwe, British, and Irish.). Interesting!

Thanks so much! I'm glad even someone who's been around a while enjoyed it. Feel free to do a similar picture post if you want (hint hint lol).

My dad is Mexican and my mom is of Irish descent (with a small bit of Cree Indian), so there was quite a lot of pale skin & red hair on her side too. But Josh's family is pretty heavy on Cherokee & one other type of Indian, not sure what...The only pale redhead in his family was his grandad, who had a bit of Dutch or something, I think, and Josh apparently got his coloring.

I don't think I'd ever seen a non-hospital/non-FB-user-pic picture of your mom before. She's really beautiful. :)

Also, good GOD, woman, I think that baby's trying to come out your navel! If people are saying you're carrying low now, your belly must have been up around your chin before! :D

Thank you! She really was beautiful. I didn't think I posted the hospital pics (well, any where you could see her...). They were pretty bad. This one is from our baby shower, the day before Eden was born. She kept her hair shorter later on, but I didn't have any good pics to link to. And that's one of my favorite pics - I think it's the only one I have of her & Josh together.

My belly button is so low right now! Still never going to poke out though, but it acts like it really wants to try. People are still telling me I'm carrying high, actually (one lady had the audacity to grope me at work when I told her it had dropped! She just reached down there to see! 0_o). The pics with my dad & everybody were from early July-ish, I think. Everyone said it was high. I just think baby must be long like its Daddy, because its head has definitely been way down low for a long while now.

Read this, loved it and then spent 2 minutes trying to find the "like" button. I have got to take a break from Facebook :/

Beautiful way to start the next chapter of your life ♥
