I should have known that I would not be the best at charting. Shoot, I could barely take a pill at the same time. My temps were all over the place, nothing conclusive, and then I pretty much just got lazy. I'm going to try to get back on the temp taking wagon, but my work schedule is all over the place, so I'd have to take it at different times. ( Read more... )

If I didn't mention it during the write-ins you have at least one more friend here trying (although I'm not going all out and attempting to figure out what my cycle looks like).

I don't recall if you told me or not. I'm glad to know though! I wish you the best of luck! How long have you been trying? We got the IUD out in early October, although we'd been searching for a midwife for the removal for several months.

Well actually after a recent loss (miscarriage) I've only been "allowed" to try since July.

Oh, I'm so sorry! I hope you're able to conceive again, and that everything goes perfectly for you. Good luck! Keep me posted.

Good luck!! I'm pretty sure I don't ovulate anywhere near day 14 as I would always get ovulation symptoms a couple of days after my last day of period.

Maybe you can tell Josh to increase your chances you need to have sex every day haha. ;)

I'm going to get the Mirena IUD put in on Dec 10th. I'm looking forward to it.

Yeah, Josh is not overly eager lately. He's been feeling sick for a week and a half though, so I'm just going to believe that's why. ><

I'm worried that maybe I ovulate earlier, too, which means we may have missed our chance this month. But we did have one good romp, so I guess that's a chance. I still wish I could pinpoint the day/area that I do ovulate.

Good luck with the Mirena! I am definitely going that route instead of the copper next time. I've heard the Mirena can really help with shorter/lighter periods, and though the copper lasted longer, I wouldn't want to do that again. Let me know how you like it. That's what we're leaning for after the next baby.

I'll let you know. My mother in law has one and she has no period at all on hers which sounds nice but kind of scary because I've always relied on my period to know that I wasn't pregnant...

I like the idea of the copper one since it doesn't have any hormones but I know that my periods are a little bit heavy and anything that would make them worse might be more than I want to handle.

Did you read my latest blog entry about the ovulation testing? I ended up needing to test TWICE a day and was gearing up for three times a day. I have a link to some message boards I recently found. I'll send that your way too.

No, I'm afraid I haven't yet. I have 400 emails to catch up on after NaNo, though I did get an email with your title "LH surged", so congratulations!

I've started to have a wee faint line pop up. It says that it's not a surge if the line is fainter than the control line, but I wasn't even having *that* at first, so I'm hoping that maybe it's gearing up towards that.

Damn, those things are so expensive. I wouldn't want to do it several times a day. >< Guess I will if I get no concrete answers this month.
