Thanks! I know there are white German Shepherds. This one just didn't seem to look like one. He's still a puppy though, and his fur seems shorter than I was accustomed to seeing on one, so maybe he'll fill out. He's a pretty dog! They guy said he had papers and everything, so I suppose he's probably right. I think it's cool that they're giving us their puppy.
And yeah, I must have read that item wrong, not surprising. At the moment my brain is choosing to interpret what I'm reading in very different ways than what's actually written. I blame Nano. ;)
german shepherds are my absolutely favourite breed. i grew up with them. i might steal him when i visit.... ;)
re the visit. i'm thinking an early summer roadtrip that brings us across to yours, then up to wisconsin, then across to delaware, then back home. that covers the in-laws, too hehe. *fingers crossed* !!! i have to roadtrip down to florida, too, though...
josh will make a great farmer. self-sufficiency is a long-haul. be prepared for everything to take far longer than you expect. but as long as you're moving gradually in that direction, and as long as you're having a blast doing it, then all is good!
Josh has already laid claim to Jasper 2. I'd like to see you tussle for him though.
Don't make any definite plans on dates yet! We'll be planning an official housewarming party once we're settled, so hopefully you could make it out for that. It'd be awesome!
I'm glad you agree about Farmer Josh. I'm expecting it to take longer, but he seems to think we'll jump right in with cows and repairs and food and chickens and everything. I'm trying to foster his enthusiasm while pacing ourselves gently. lol
I had a white German Shepherd growing up. They're lovely dogs.
The children are putting things together to send to you guys. Are they better off waiting until you're in the new home and sending you Christmas stuff?
I don't know! Go ahead and send a letter if you have one. I'm not even entirely sure what the new address will be, as there are apparently two addresses listed. We'll be here for a couple more weeks, and anything after that could be forwarded anyway. Thank you!
I don't know anyone else who does that with the taskbar. Anytime anyone sees mine, they're like, "What the--?" I moved mine on accident once and liked it. Been like that since.

Also I keep my task bar at the top too. :) It's the best that way! I have to move the mouse way less.
