Robbie Robertson and the Red Road Ensemble did an excellent album, but I don't know if it's wordless/mellow enough for your purposes. Still worth having, though. :)

I third 'Earth Spirit', it's really good.

I have two recommendations, neithter of which are Indian themed:

* Steve Halpern: Chakra Suite - New Age wall-of-keyboards, but well done, and I've read a lot of reviews saying it promotes a healing atmosphere. I would expect his other stuff to be good too, I'll check out "om zone"
* OM - The Reverberation of Source: Master Charles - This is an amazing disc, it features gentle sitar, ocean waves and long meditative "om"s, the sound it mixed to promote alpha brain waves, and it works very well for me. If I put it on when working on someone, I just absorb completely into the act of massage, there is no outside world.

I have not tried either of these with energy work (I haven't done much yet), but they will be my first ones to try when I do. I expect that they will work very well.

Are you planning on getting into energy work? Anything specific?

At some point in the next few years I want to start the four-year program at the Brennan School. I've been planning that for a while, and I went to a workshop there in April that was really amazing. It conformed my intention.

In the meantime I want to get at least my Reiki I attunement to keep developing my skills and sensitivities.

I'm not familiar with that school, so thanks for pointing it out. I looked a bit, but I hope to look at it closely. I'm beginning to teach reiki, so if you might be interested in Medicine Reiki, let me know.
