The stars are so bright out tonight. If...a bit odd in their patterns. I wonder who the "Great One" is? Whoever he or she is, they certainly made an impression on the stars.

It's almost... [He trails off and just before he switches to a filter, there's a slight grunt of pain.]

It's really tacky. I mean come on if you're going to make hearts in the stars at least make then colored.

Color would be quite nice. What color would you like the stars to be, Haruki-kun?

[Humm] Well for this message, like I said, pink hearts would be best. But in general, green and blue would be better.

I'd like rainbow colors. Wouldn't the sky be so pretty?

Ah, it's just a bit too bright is all. I must be getting too nocturnal.

I run the midnight shift at the Welcome Center and have early morning training with my student, but otherwise I do need to sleep sometime or another. I tend to miss the afternoons.

Maybe the 'Great One' is some sort of God? I guess the Malnosso would know better than we do though.

Do you think it might be the Malnosso's god? Or maybe one of their leaders.

I'm not quite sure. I don't even think Luceti has any sort of church. [she yawns lightly] Well, it's not nearly as bright as that weird river thing.

Weird...river thing? Oh! That thing Ginko-san was talking about? I'm afraid I'm unable to see it.

[Ginko hasn't met a filter he hesitated to hack--- and that was in a Luceti WITHOUT mushi.

If the remark half-catches his attention, the conversations that he picks on on later have him responding right away.

He does take pause to smile a little at the suggestion that mushi are New Feathers, in their own way-- he finds himself inclined to like this young man]

... Okita-san.

How are you feeling?

Ah...Ginko-san? I'm well. And you? I hope chasing down the little visitors from your world isn't tiring you out.

["little visitors", eh? Ginko might take notice of a few of those conversations approvingly. But, business. Ginko might have hacked your filter, sir. Scruples he often lacks... but he'll build up to it.]

Hohh, not too badly. So long as it doesn't keep up this way indefinitely.

That's good. I do hope they're not too scared. It would be a shame since some of us can't see them.

[Susumu doesn't even bother with the journal; within moments he's crouched outside Okita's room, rapping lightly on the door.]

[When he hears that, Okita sits up from where he'd been lying in bed. He's changed into his sleeping clothes and keeps his eyes clothes, the blinds drawn on the windows.]

Come in - don't open the door too wide.

[Puzzled by the order, but not questioning it, Susumu slips into the room, shutting the door behind him.] What do you need?

[He points vaguely in the direction of the window without turning his head.]

If you could find a way to make that darker? I would be very much obliged. Something about the light is bothering me.
