Peculiar how people can be. Meh, I think it doesn't help that the truly good foods are really expensive. Well, ok, that's just me and my love of sushi. ^_^
that is true. i probably eat 3 times more than usual the few times i go to restaurants :p (and things i don't eat everyday. like deer. Bambi is so yummy!)
Dont like pasta? Well then I cant make you some of my few cooking involed eidable things, specially my fried spaghetti with soy sauce :( (boil up and cook pasta for 8mins, water it down, put olive oil (or any other) into a wok and fry it with soy sauce spewed atop of it for about 15 mins. The end product have a taste on its own, thx for the soy sauce, I eat it with out any later added sauce.)
lol the opposite has been happening here :P im being the one trying to make my family eat less, since i think they all overeat when they think i dont eat enough xD recently, my mom has tried teaching me to cook ((cause lawl, idk how)) since its probably a good skill to have P: so i get to make dinner once a week. while i make stuff, they always try and give suggestions and stuff to add and im just "THERES SO MUCH HERE ALREADY, GO AWAY. if youre gonna complain, then make the dinner yourself" xD im just trying to keep meals reasonable sizes and they dont like it, but such is life 8D the amount of food that is suggested daily intake actually isnt much at all and i think on a normal day, i eat what i should be eating at the right amount. its weird that people get so obsessed with food and large meals P: but large meals make me sleepy at when i dont want to be so id rather not have them. even in summer where i need more calories for outdoor activities, its better to eat light but then just have high calorie snacks throughout the day
( ... )
lol, you are lucky xD. though this doesn't really happens with my closer family (bros and parents), only with aunts, uncles, grandmas and strangely enough, some college mates. i've had 18-year old kids "concerned" about my health. wtf. brats D: lol, i hate cooking and i'm awful at it xD (and have to do it most days as i live alone during the scholar year). that may help i guess! lol, never paid any attention to what would be the "right" amount of it, and completely agreed about eating more that necessary. we don't need to carry on extra-weight in the stomach. during my hikes, i even tend to take alot of two certain edible fungi (known as "llao llao" and "indian's bread") right from the trees, as they provide you with lots of carbohydrates. some of my companions get all "wtf are you doing??!! xD
