What an awesome weekend! I went to the Heroes and Villains Fan Fest here in Chicago with my best buddy Chris. This year they combined it with Walker Stalker, the Walking Dead convention, so it was absolutely insane with the number of people there. BUT, if it hadn’t been for the cons being combined, I never would have met Jeffrey Dean Morgan!

I still can’t believe it, either! Thank goodness he’s on Walking Dead now, so was invited to the con. Otherwise I don’t think I ever would’ve had the opportunity. He was so amazing in person and to hear him talk so fondly about Jensen and Jared warmed my heart. :-)

So glad you had a good time at the con. and you got to meet some of your favorite stars. I have seen JDM in a couple of things besides Supernatural, but not the Walking Dead. You are lucky to have so many cons close to you. There is one coming to Orlando, Mega Con, that I attended once, and that was enough. Just too many people and waiting in all the lines was a bitch. Won't be going there again. Did get to see Karl Urban there when I went so that was the good part.

I really am lucky that I live in the Chicago area, which is big enough to attract so many conventions all year long. If only I could afford to go to them all! LOL!

Yes, you’ve got to really have patience to attend some of these. Even I won’t go to ComicCon out in San Diego and I’ve stopped attending DragonCon in Atlanta. The crowds are out of control. It just ruins the experience and I want to go to have fun, not to be frustrated all day long.

Did you ever see Jeff in Magic City? OMG, he was stunning! And we got to see his naked butt a couple of times. [snerk] I never saw him in Grey’s Anatomy, but I know his career took off after that. I still can’t believe I met him!
