It’s the little things

I’m a big fan of Philip Winchester, who had one of the two lead roles on Strike Back for four years. His character’s name was Michael Stonebridge. Now Philip is the lead actor on Chicago Justice, where his character’s name is Peter Stone. How funny is that, eh? Every single time he says “Stone” I want to finish it with “bridge”. :-)

Anyway, I ( Read more... )

I think it’s really cool that the executive producer is even reading our tweets! And for him to recognize mine just made me smile. :-)

It's the little things that sometimes make living worthwhile. On another note, hope you didn't get nailed too badly by the winter storm. I was watching it on the news, and brrr. It got down to freezing here for the first time this winter. One more night of it and then, thank goodness, we will be back to the 70's.
An Irish cooking class sounds like fun. Was in Ireland once and I preferred their salmon over the lamb. For some reason it tends to leave a muttony aftertaste in my mouth. But did have the soda bread and a mix of maple syrup in which to dip it.
I would love to visit Vancouver someday. In the summer though. Have fun.

We did end up with about three inches of snow last week from the storm. Which has now melted from the torrential rains we’ve had the past two days. :-) Welcome to spring in Chicago! LOL!

I did see on one of the weather reports how cold it got down by you! This time I don’t blame you for shivering. :-) Wish we could warm up to the 70’s the next day, too!

The Irish cooking class was wonderful! Man, that beer cheese soup was simply amazing, not to mention the Bailey’s Irish Cream creme brûlée!

Now I’m definitely a lamb person, and when I was in Ireland I couldn’t get enough of the stew with some hearty soda bread. Yum! I really ate good that entire week. :-)

If you ever get the chance to visit Vancouver, don’t hesitate. It’s such a fabulous city. And so beautiful. Counting the days till my trip!
