Ya I understand all of that. I do hate the idea of being put in that category just because I hang out with them. They don't usually talk about that bullshit around me, and I appreciate that. I know they are strongly racist, which does make me feel really fucking uncomfortable..but..at the same time, they're entitled to think the way they choose, just as I am entitled to think the way I do. Just as some people can believe in the corrupt workings of Christianity and some people are strongly atheist. Either way someone is going to think its wrong, but I'm not going to alienate anyone for their beliefs. its all whats in their hearts that I judge, and to me those kids have big hearts, they're just on the wrong path, for reasons only they can explain. I just hope they fall out of it..and I hope this drama passes, because I can see it going way farther than it needs to ( ... )

That's what scares me, that it will actually turn physical. I don't want the kids to start violence because really, that's what they're trying to prevent by being anti-... No one wants to have their friends alienated or hurt because they are the wrong colour, but hurting them in the sake of prevention on a group that has never threatened anyone .... that's where it gets touchy.

People preach tolerance but no one wants to tolerate what they hate.
Especially if they think that they hate for the right reasons.

...but don't we all

I think this issue needs to be discussed more when drinks have not been had. It's a topic that should come up. And Amy, you may have to put yourself out there for this one...

I agree, we need to get the group together and actually discuss it. Instead of drunkenly attacking people (even if its just verbally) it still has the potential of turning into something way bigger than it needs to...especially when people are drunk.

Talking to both sides, and being friends with both sides is really helping me get a better idea of how this is going to turn out, and it doesn't look very good, and I'd rather stop it and prevent it from happening by coming up with a solution.

And of course I will, I have very strong feelings towards everything that's going on, again, for both sides. Therefore I will fully be straight up and honest about my views on everything that's going on.
