Grr, no comics today! Sure, the new comics were out, but there was nothing I wanted to buy. I even spent about twenty minutes looking through the trade paperback shelves for something interesting that I hadn’t already read. No dice. So it’s Wednesday and I’ve no new comics to read and thus the world is fundamentally out of whack

Damn, I've been out of the loop with the jury duty I was on until yesterday. And one of my two favorite tea rooms, Toraya, is closing at the end of the month. Not a good month for places to sit and write/draw.

You should have bought the 99 cent Golden Age DC sampler. You would have gotten three pretty good stories, and one rotten Wonder Woman tale.

Surprisingly, I was about to make the same recommendation. Yes, Avram, you should pick up the Golden Age sampler. The Plastic Man story, in particular, is completely bat-f****** insane, but in a good way...
