For those of you who do not follow me on twitter, Friday night we had a little tornado touch down behind the house. It touched down about a half mile back in the woods of the neighbor to my west, cut across the south west corner of our farm and went through my neighbor to the south's woods until it blew itself out. Glad that you're okay, and that neither the manor nor the livestock were harmed.

I think few people could claim the distinction (if one could call it that) of having five tornadoes on their property.

It may have been more but the family records are a but unreliable before the Civil War. The scary part is that three of the 5 have been in my lifetime and I'm not yet all that old. Counting down there was this one, the one in the fall of 1985, the famous July 4, 1969 tornado, there was one in 1907 and one in 1878.

I'm glad you're ok. I've survived tornadoes, but I don't remember them very well.

Why do Amish have chain saws? What's wrong with an ax?

Animals are very intuitive about things. Ours freak out before earthquakes sometimes, so I'm not surprised he was weird about the storm.

This is the third tornado I've been through and I had no idea I was even through it until it was over.

Amish use axes? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
