Moody often purchases vintage British teeny boppy pulp magazines from the 70s off eBay, so that she can cut out the photos of her favorite dinosaur rockers like Colin Blunstone and Justin Hayward. These magazines are basically 90% pin-up photos of guys with bad hair and tight pants, 10% fluff journalism. I'm not against fluff pieces (I don't ( Read more... )

You must have been full of such glee to have discovered this. Also, Moody collecting 70s teen magazines is just adorable like puppies and kittens.

...but wait, "a girl who works as a receptionist in a vet's office and falls in love with a textile manufacturer who brings his turkey in for treatment," what? How did they even...who invented that plot and what was he smoking again?

Even better, the girl hated animals but was working as a vet's receptionist because she had "medical training" but was such a hypochondriac that she couldn't be near sick people without thinking she'd caughttheir diseases. But she didn't want her "medical knowledge" to go to waste, so she went to work for a veterinarian. As a receptionist. Go figure.

Also, the textile manufacturer asked her to come to his house to visit the turkey because it missed her. Smooth!
