Stephen King, "On Writing"

If you write, or like Stephen King, the Waldenbooks in the Oaks Mall has his book On Writing in hardcover for $4 on the bargain wall. It's part memoir, part tips on writing, and I think it's a very good thing to read if either the former or the latter is true ( Read more... )

I think it is a great book. I insist that my music composition students read it. If I could buy a case of those in hardcover at $4 a pop, I'd totally do it.

Do you want me to go buy them up? Seriously: I'll go buy them (as many as I can find, or up to a limit) and ship 'em your way. If I send them media mail, I should be able to get them there for around $5.25 each. I know you're going through the application process (and hopefully the moving process, as well), so it wouldn't matter if reimbursal wasn't forthcoming until later.

Let me know? Sooner the better/get while the gettin's good/etc.

Remember... I'll be there in about a month for the FEMF, so shipping is a non-issue.
