Once I told 99 truth and no one believed me.
But the only lie, they all believed it.

“Yoochun why isn’t Junsu back yet? He was supposed to be back like half an hour ago!” Jaejoong couldn’t help but to worry about his baby brother. Junsu needed him to be his shield and protect him all the time. Now it was already dusk and everyone was gathering in the restaurant while Jaejoong was pacing inside their cabin.
He kept looking at the clock wishing that every time, Junsu would be one step closer in returning to their cabin. Unfortunately that was not the case. Before his mom could find out and turned everything upside down Jaejoong decided to go look for Junsu. Yoochun had stayed behind in case Mrs. Kim came and he would need to explain on her sons’ whereabouts.
The sea was smelly and the weather was gloomy too. There were grey clouds covering the sky not allowing the moonlight to shine through to light his way. Dark shadows were roaming the corner of his view as shapes formed and melted away. Shivering Jaejoong knew he had to find Junsu fast.
In the mysterious café Junsu had found he met an interesting man. His name was Jung Yunho and he was apparently a photographer. His dazzling smile and funny way of speaking caused Junsu to break down into fits of laughter.
Checking the clock Junsu noticed how late it was, and it was pitch black outside as the sun had set. Junsu didn’t want to leave yet but deep inside he knew that Jaejoong must be worried and looking for him now. He paid for his drink and said goodbye to Yunho, who had followed him to the front door of the café.
“I hope we can meet again Yunho. It was nice talking with you.”
“Me too and be careful. Are you sure you don’t want me to follow you back to the hotel?” Yunho asked thinking what a nice kid Junsu was with great manners, gentle and adorable when he laughed.
“I will be fine of my own. Thank you Yunho.” Junsu waved and started walking back to where he had come from. He looked back and Yunho was still standing on the exact same spot.
“Junsu!” It was his brother Jaejoong, a worried and angry expression on his face. “Where have you been? Did that silly guy over there do something to you? If so I’m going to smash his face to a pulp.”
At times Jaejoong could get overprotective of his brother. Jaejoong walked towards the café where Yunho was standing and watching them. They were too far away for Yunho to actually hear anything and Junsu was grateful for that. It would be embarrassing if Yunho heard his brother speaking like this.
From where Yunho stood he saw a boy about the same age as him walked over to Junsu. For a second he thought maybe it was best he went up to Junsu and walked him home, but after waiting awhile he saw that the new boy wasn’t bothering Junsu. The both of them seemed to be on friendly terms.
Yunho figured this must be the amazing and courageous brother Junsu had told him about. From afar Yunho couldn’t see his face but just his figure, which was quite similar to Junsu’s. Yunho hoped that he would get to meet Junsu again.
“No Jaejoong. He didn’t do anything to me.” Junsu used all his strength to hold his brother back. “We were only talking in that café over there. It’s owned by his friend. SO please can we go back now? Mom must be worried.”
“Have you checked what time it is? How can you be so irresponsible when you know that your attacks happen more regularly during the summer?”
Junsu slid one arm under Jaejoong’s and urged his brother to hurry.”He was a gentleman Jaejoong. Really nice and didn’t do anything suspicious at all. Now can we hurry up? You left Yoochun behind didn’t you? If mom found him alone and not with us, she’ll throw him like garbage.”
Yeah, their mom has a temper and things could get nasty if she lose her temper. When they got back Mrs. Kim was inside their cabin, angry like a bee and scolding Yoochun for not being able to protect her sons when she left them in his care.
Jaejoong winced as Mrs. Kim found her new target striding over to Jaejoong. “Young man! Where have you been?”
Her thunderous face calmed down a little bit as her anger turned to worry. Deep frowns appeared on her forehead marking her true age and her small tinted eyes were scanning Jaejoong and Junsu, checking for any sign of injuries.
“We’ll have a serious discussion about this later. Now go change and then come to the restaurant.”
Junsu let out a sigh and looked at Yoochun behind his long bangs. “I’m sorry Yoochun that you got scolded because of us.”
“There is no need to apologize Junsu. I just wished that for once my mom could be like Mrs. Kim and scold me. That’s what I would call family bonds.”
“But still Yoochun, we’re sorry that you got scolded.” Jaejoong had finished changing and was now waiting for Junsu. Junsu was looking in his bag for his inhaler but it was not ther. Maybe I’ve packed it somewhere else.
“Junsu hurry up. We’re already late.” He gave up searching and ushered Jaejoong out. The warm evening wind blew at him and Junsu shivered. Yoochun saw this and placed his cotton vest over Junsu’s shoulders. “You should have worn thicker clothes.”

Yunho was helping Ea cleaned up the place and arranging tidily the furniture. Suddenly he heard someone scream,”Help!” But just as fast as the scream was heard, it disappeared leaving behind an eerie feeling. Maybe it was only his imagination.
After the tables were stored behind the café Ea showed up around the mini bar with a bottle of scotch and held up two fine glasses between her fingers. “Let’s have a drink.”
“Ea, did you hear that? Someone screamed!”
“Are you sure it’s not only you imagining things? I didn’t hear anything.” She took a seat near the counter and poured some scotch for Yunho and herself. It burnt his throat as he swallowed his, the liquor tasted old and bitter while Ea enjoyed hers while eating cherries.
“Help!”
This time there was no doubt someone was desperately screaming for help. “You heard that too!” Yunho exclaimed.
A chill ran down Ea’s back and without thinking twice, “Hurry Yunho.” She urged him to hurry up and save whoever that was in need for help.
And Yunho did he ran as fast as his legs would bring him. He ran deeper into the woods as the shouts became clearer. In his hurry Yunho bumped into someone who then dropped his lighter. When he stopped to pick it up yunho saw the face of a middle aged man, dressed in rags. He has a frightened look on his face revealed that he’d done something bad like committed a crime.
“Help.” The voice sounded more desperate and scared. The man then fled and Yunho didn’t have much of choice but to hurry towards the direction of the shouts.
When Yunho arrived at the clearing he saw a guy on a boat. His long hair made it difficult for Yunho to see his face. The boat was gradually sinking and the guy on the boat was getting more and more hysterical. If he didn’t flail his arms maybe he could have remain in the boat before it completely disappeared underwater.

When Junsu woke up he found that Jaejoong was gone. They slept on the same bed so why didn’t Junsu feel Jaejoong leave the bed? Junsu looked around their shared cabin but could not see any traces of Jaejoong. He needed to tell his mom about this. With bare feet Junsu ran down the passage leading to his parents’ cabin and banged on the door urgently. There was no time to waste, Jaejoong might be in danger.
Once Mrs. Kim opened the door Junsu blurted out in a rush, “Jaejoongismissing! Ican’tfind him anywhere”
Junsu was about to cry he could feel that something was awfully wrong. It can be called as a hunch or sixth sense but the distress and agitation feeling tugging on his nerves told him Jaejoong was in danger.
“What do you mean Junsu? Where is Jaejoong?” It was a question Junsu couldn’t answer since he didn’t know. Jaejoong has disappeared without leaving a note and that was not his brother’s way of doing things.
Mrs. Kim immediately called the front desk and asked for the Manager to get his ass over here and explain why her son was missing. Yoochun stood in a corner quietly watching everything. Suddenly Junsu panted while holding a hand over his chest. “Hhhhhhhh…heeehhhhhhhhhhhhh…” The immense pain made him cried out and collapsed onto the floor.
Mrs. Kim hurried to Junsu’s side, “Are you having another attack Junsu?” Why was she the obvious? “Yoochun go get Junsu’s inhaler,” she said while patting her son’s back making soothing circles trying to get Junsu to breathe. Yoochun only returned with his inhaler after almost a quarter of an hour when Junsu was closed to fainting. “
What took you so long?” The protective lioness grabbed the inhaler from Yoochun’s outstretched hand and put it to Junsu’s mouth. “Breathe Junsu. Come on.” And slowly Junsu started to breathe normally and the sweat began to dry from his forehead.
“Sorry Aunty. It was in the backseat of the car,” Yoochun explained. This caused Mrs. Kim to glare at Junsu and was ready to scold her son for his carelessness. He must have forgotten where he had placed it and skipped out on using it during dinner, which was why he suddenly had an attack.
The Manager’s heart seemed to stop when Mrs. Kim turned to him, “I will sue this hotel if you don’t find my son!” It was not an empty threat yet her demand was impossible to carry out. It was absurd for Junsu’s mom to threaten the Manager that way. Mr. Kim took Mrs. Kim in his arms and she started to sniffle.
It was amazing seeing how fast a person’s composure can change because Mrs. Kim regained her calm as fast as she had lost it. “I’m telling you to find my son, why are you still standing there?” And with that the Manager hurried off, whom in his panic nearly tripped over his own feet.
“Mom I’m sure Jaejoong is fine. You know Jaejoong, he’s strong and not easily frightened,” Junsu tried to reassure her.
This was true yet it was still assumptions that Jaejoong might be okay. And just when they were all worrying about Jaejoong’s whereabouts the door opened revealing Jaejoong piggybacked by Yunho. His face was as white as marble, drained of colors and water was dripping from his cloth.
Mrs. Kim aggressively pushed Yunho away when she took Jaejoong into her arms, “Yoochun go get me some towels.” No one took notice of Yunho as he stood at the side and watched. Jaejoong’s eyes slowly cracked opened and he let out a sigh when he saw his mom’s familiar face.
“Who are you? Did you do this to Jaejoong?” And before Yunho got the chance to defend himself Yoochun had already punched him.
Junsu reacted immediately and held Yoochun back, “Yoochun you’ve misunderstood. Yunho wouldn’t do that.”
Yoochun frowned and stared strangely at Junsu, “Do you know him Junsu?”
“I met him this evening when I was taking a walk. And he’s not that kind of man.”
Mrs. Kim looked at him with uneasiness in her eyes. “Jaejoong tell me what happened. Did this man attack you?”
Jaejoong coughed and looked around him. He saw his parents, Junsu and Yoochun but also the man who he saw this evening. Yeah, no doubt he was saved by him.
“He didn’t hurt me in any way mom. He saved me,” he explained while rubbing his hands trying to warm up his freezing hands. Falling into the lake caused Jaejoong to be in a shocked state but with all the questioning he was slowly returning to normal.
Yoochun who looked back and forth between Jaejoong and Yunho finally settled himself beside Jaejoong and brought him into his arms. His body warmth helped gradually bring Jaejoong’s body temperature back to normal.
“What happened to you Jaejoong? We were all so worried about you!”
“I woke up on a boat in the middle of the lake. The boat was leaking and I nearly drowned if it wasn’t for Yunho who saved me,” Jaejoong put in an extra good word for Yunho since he didn’t want his savior to get into any trouble with his mom.
“Mom, I’m tired can we talk about it tomorrow?”
“Sure.” Mrs. Kim then urged everyone to leave allowing Jaejoong to have proper rest. Junsu helped Jaejoong to take a shower since his brother’s hands were still shaking and his teeth were chattering.
“Jaejoong, did you see who did it?” Bubbles were floating around the bathroom and Junsu kept blowing more from his hands. His lips forming an O shape as he blew softly to make the bubbles fly.
“No I didn’t. But Junsu didn’t I say that this trip was a bad idea? I knew something like this would happen.”
“Jaejoong, maybe you were right. But there is no need to worry anymore, I’m sure mom won’t let us stay here anymore.”
Jaejoong used a towel to dry his head while Junsu helped towel dry his body. Sometimes he would accidentally brush against his brother’s lower region, but it was unintended. When his fingers brushed against Jaejoong’s inner thighs, Jaejoong let out a groan.
“Junsu let me do it myself.” Jaejoong took the towel from Junsu and dried his body himself.
“Let’s go to sleep.”
