Well, this is what kickstarts the whole story ... so I guess there's still "hope" ;) (although I think I killed off Sam earlier than intended, oops xD)

Yeah, um. I'm good at that--accidentally killing off a character before I know what's even really going on and then being all, "um, now what?"

In the original idea I think he went on waaayyy longer ... like on one of the last missions-longer. Oh well. Guess I gotta find a new name or something *G*

Poor Chelsea. I'm assuming she lost her partner to the mutants? This seems like such a cool world, too. :) Have fun with it during NaNoWriMo!

The guilt overran her partner, so she left.

It really is! I started writing it for writerverse with short pieces left and right. The base story has changed a bit since then, so I want to explore it for NaNo. Thank you!

In response, Chelsea simply rolled her eyes and stepped out of the room.
Always a bad sign, especially for a person charged to "be careful."

It looks as if this setup could be very fertile for your NaNo project. Lots of possibilities. :)
