Kim is sitting by the lake. She's got her knees up to her chest and her arms wrapped around them. Her face is pale and her eyes are red-rimmed and a little bloodshot.
She's staring off into the distance and looks very lost.

He's going for a walk by the lake, trying to clear his head and relax for a while when he spots her by the tree. It's clear she's upset about something, and at the sight of her red-rimmed eyes and miserable expression, he can feel his heart tug in his chest. He doesn't know why, but for some reason, despite the way she'd looked at him the night before, seeing her upset...it actually hurts. And he can't just walk away without saying something.

He walks over to her, standing a few feet away. "Are...are you all right?" he asks, tentatively, concern written all over his face.

She looks up at the voice near her and her eyes widen. If she wasn't so miserable she would stand but if he tries to attack her she can fight him.

"I know that you told my dad what you'd do to me. But I'm not going to let you." She hopes that she doesn't sound afraid.

He's not sure what hurts more; her assumtion that he's going to try and hurt her, or what that assumtion says about him. He should be getting used to hearing about what a monster he is by now, but he just can't. Something inside him won't let himself believe it.

"I...I'm not going to do anything to you," he says quietly, incapable of keeping all the hurt off his face. "I just...you looked upset."

She almost laughs, her dad pushing her around and now Salazar being *nice* to her?

And she's on her feet and before she knows what she's doing, she walks over to him. "You destroyed my dad...if not for you he wouldn't have gotten hooked on heroin and did all those things that he did to get to *you*. But if you touch my daughter again...I will kill you and no one will be able to stop me."

Probably if her voice was stronger that would be more convincing.
