Long time no write

Obviously, still having a hard time making the time to write.  FB is easier, I can post a gazillion pictures of our beach trips and jot down little random thoughts as I have them.  It is just the beach for us these days, the hills are so dry, between the foxtails, ticks and the reminder that if we have a fire, it will be hardcore, well, the beach ( Read more... )

I think what's exciting for me about watching Rich (besides the freaky fast thing) is he seems so strong and in control of his body. Especially for a kid! Maybe it's the black, and the low carriage, but he just looks balanced.. if that makes any sense.

I remember seeing video of him and his littermates doing flyball recalls at 5-6 weeks and thinking there was a coordination that didn't seem normal for a little puppy. Angela says that his mommy, Chant was like that too. He sure is fun. :-)

Some law of science must state that decent coordination will get you quicker from point A to point B. He's got that down, no doubt!

Steam and I have gotten so much closer and more connected since I stopped doing agility with him. Interesting...

Rich has the best A frame! And his dog walk is insane. How exciting that his debut is coming soon!

Red dogs are good teachers. :-)

Love the frame and it's the insanity of the dogwalk that has me thinking it's not going to work. Too crazy and even if he can consistently hit yellow in competition, how the hell am I supposed to be able to get down there to handle it? ;-) Still, we'll plug away until that's are big problem, since I think we'll have bars, off-courses not related to the rdw and startlines to deal with for a while.

Mia!

Of course I'm one to talk, I rarely post to LJ anymore...

I always think of you when I'm watching the Vergina monologues and I hear that distinctive giggle.

Julie! Don't you have a puppy that should be better documented?

Vergina has been such an ahmazing influence on me. If only I could be so glorious. I hope she will share her amazing new handling move. I can't remember what it is called in her native language, but translates to "The Kitchen Sink".

Ah yes the undocumented puppy. I need Heather to fly out here and start documenting him ASAP.

He reminds me of his Dad Pistol Pete. I think Rich runs with so much enthusiasm. Love them both!! He is a fun boy that is for sure. I was supposed to go to California for that July trial but can't now unfortunately. It would of been fun to see Rich's debut!

I definitely see Pete's good nature and enthusiasm in Rich. His build reminds me of his momma. Bummer about missing Bay Team! Hopefully we'll see you at the Western Regional. :)
