I have a friend who launched a very successful writing career from just sucha recommendation. See if he'll write a blurb for your novel! Speaking of which, some of those novellas could be pushed into novels if you were so inclined.

The market is tough right now but you're making progress!

Honestly, I'm perfectly fine writing short stories and novelettes at this point. Half the reason not!KKBB/IM is still sitting on my hard drive is because I'm rubbish at synopses. And the whole "hunting for an agent thing" is ridiculously time-consuming. I really have no desire to spend ten months writing a single work and then having it go nowhere when I could spend the same amount of time writing ten works where there are more markets and my odds are better. I have three immediate places for Zombunnies and another twelve I can think of off the top of my head if those three fail--and I don't have to tailor the sub to each individual market like you do for each agent.

Maybe once I find actual success with shorts, I'll revisit novels. Until then, I like what I'm doing. :)
