That at least two of these outlines and possibly three of them involve characters I've already created. My spaceship crew has been published once (twice if you count here), but Alex and Ben have yet to see the light of day in any publication anywhere, which is... kind of a shame because I love them dearly and think they're awesome

Actually, the existence of the backstory, whether referenced or not, can make the characters richer. Also, could make people clamor for more. :)
