LTUE is over and was, from my POV anyway, a rousing success. I got feedback on the A&tS story (the first five pages of which apparently don't suck, but that may have been a function of my dramatic and entertaining reading of it as much as anything else), and Bob Defendi has agreed to have a look at the rest of it for me. I'm not sure how well I'd do writing in a book 'verse

It's just fanfic - you've had good practice already.

Yeah, I'll have to read the books, and find out what their guidelines are, and then see if any of the storylines turn me. It's really weird to be approached by perfect strangers telling me about this great writing opportunity--I mean, for all they know, I suck at writing. I guess there's a certain cachet to having been a three-time Honorable Mention at WotF, though. That probably tells them that I can at least put a coherent sentence together...
