That happened with me and a book that I won. What was weird was this person didn't have any negatives. I sent four e-mails and no response. I filed for a refund and got it right away. What does eBay do with these types of people? Do they get a black mark or something? I was afraid to leave any kind of feedback because of the negativity. You know what I mean. One person leaves negative feedback, the seller leaves negative feedback, it gets to be a fight. I've seen it so much on eBay. I ended up getting the book from someone else.
If enough people file against a non-performing seller, eBay will suspend them. Fortunately for me, the seller has already left me a positive feedback for my speedy payment, so I don't have to worry about a retaliatory neg, and I can leave honest feedback.
I really didn't want to look for this comic again. *grumbles*
Trouble is that people who don't stick to the rules are the ones that give E-bay a bad name, and tend to make honest people a bit wary of it. I hope it gets sorted quickly.
I've had over 400 transactions on eBay, and can count on the fingers of one hand the number that went south. The good FAR outweighs the bad, and for people like me who collect esoteric things, it's pretty much the source.
I just did a search for the comic on eBay again. No one has it right now. *sobs*
