I read this during the RC and was amazed by your writing. The whole piece was so subtle and quiet, and the way it winds together with canon so perfectly, my heart just broke while reading.

"Hermione, Hermione," he whispered; she felt the briefest touch of his lips on the corner of her mouth. "This wasn't supposed to happen."

Just... everything about that line is so them. Thank you for the great read.

To be honest, I was a bit leery of submitting this fic as it was, because I felt there were so many holes that I hadn't had time to fill. But I suppose since we're always the harshest critic with our own writing, I couldn't see what so many people saw. Makes me feel like I'm doing something right!
