It's been a while, gang. Here is a looong, melancholy, maybe kind of crazy chapter, though I like to think it ends with hope fluttering its wings. There are probably loads of errors. And I imagine there will be spoiler discussions in the comments, so plan accordingly.

Oh, I definitely did. Went straight from sort of tearing gently at the funeral to angst about Greg leaving to righteous anger at Ar-friggingarsehole-vel to cheering for Greg and drunk!Luce almost smex to crying again for Mason being okay.

I totally meant to put that in the original comment, only I had to go take a few deep breaths and drink some water to rehydrate myself before I could type (semi-)coherently.

Also, that last paragraph, with the sneaky kiss for Greg...♥!

Okay, I'm mostly done spazzing out now. I'm so glad I decided to check my friends page instead of getting work done. XD

Oh Mason. I'm not sure if being happy for his return would be pre-mature, though.

And Luce and Greg, the two lovable idiots, so wholly convinced that the only way the other would want them is under intoxication/an intense need for comfort. Just. I can't even imagine the holes of denial they're digging themselves into. Though that makes the story continuously better. :D

There are several things that are even more awesome than the rest, that I totally want to mention.
1) FedHex. That is just so terrible.
2)The entire funeral scene. It was just so real and sad that it felt right and it was an absolute pleasure to read.
3) And, like, all of Arvel. That was pure beauty. Wooh.

I feel kinda bad that all the super Luce and Greg stuff isn't in my top three things.. But it was all so cool that is was hard to decide. So thank you, for such an amazing chapter.
