[He sounds oh so very tired. And might be a little cranky, thanks to a certain anonymous hacker that mass forced all his servers and probably ripped a hell of a lot of information that he's still working on trying to sort through. And remedy. And trace, without much success.]Not going to lie, here. I could use a familiar face or four. Parker? Eliot ( Read more... )

"You are getting sloppy."

If Hardison looks around, he might notice an insanely thin blond sitting on his sofa. Sure, she she came in through the window, and didn't make a sound, but really.

Although, Parker is that good at what she does, of course.

Parker does not critique the art other than to say, "I like that one of Nate. You made him look sober." Instead, she jumps up, and grabs a blank sketching sheet and a pencil. She draws as she talks.

"We should be here more often. Or you should come back to us. It's not right without everyone. Someone will wind up doing someone else's job and that never goes well."

She looks up from her drawing for a second, and smiles to tease. "Maybe I'll have to take your job. Mess with your computers."

Back to focus on the drawing. She is silent for a few minutes. "Or I could come back. Stole your keys but you didn't notice. I bet I could pick your pocket while you sit on this sofa and you wouldn't notice. I'm that good."

No, she is not implying anything. he may wish to check his pockets. It's only a rough sketch, but Parker has a knack for these things. It's a self-portrait exactly as she sees herself: not smiling, not frowning, hair in a ponytail, slightly dark circles around under her eyes. It's not flattering, but it's ( ... )

Hardison's smile is a little sad, because he'd gotten unused to Parker's rapid fire subject changing and until he was faced with it, he hadn't realized he missed. He follows her over to the drawing table, watches while she sketches herself out and chuckles at her suggestion of taking his job.

It's no surprise that she's lifted his keys -- in fact, it would be surprising if she hadn't lifted something. He's fishing in his pockets when she holds up herself, and he starts to look around the apartment. "We gotta find somewhere to hang it."

Still fishing. He does have a lot of pockets between the pants and jacket.

There are so many pockets, so Parker took one thing during the first hug, and one thing during the second. It's like a game watching him fish through his pockets trying to figure out what is gone.

She laughs, her slightly too loud, would probably be inappropriate if she was anyone else, laugh and grins at him. This is normal, like the sofa.

"Lots of time for that. We have to get your money back first." It would be painfully evident that Parker:

1) has any intention of leaving
2) has any idea she has to leave

This cannot go well.
