Lucy is just around the corner, her back pressed to the wall, gun held up like on all the movies and tv shows. She bites her bottom lip, biding her time then leaps out from around the corner firing and attempting to do a roll. Mostly it ends up with her sprawled on the floor and completely missing her target. Which would be Hardison.

She moves pretty fast for a clumsy thing though and starts scrambling to scoot back around the corner.

"Man down! Man down! No shooting!"

He moves quickly for a geek, crouching down and popping out from behind a staircase to find her. Hardison darts up and slides, or rather scoots, across the floor in an attempt to get a good angle on Lucy.

"We receive no mercy," he says, his voice low and grumbly. Hardison is not Hardison tonight, he's an over-dramatic action villain. "And we show no mercy."

"Oh we're talking about mercy now," Lucy yells as she continues her scramble. She almost reaches the corner, stops and yells "Hey! Hardison" The moment he pops up, she flashes him and darts behind the wall to scramble to a better hiding place.

Hardison's eyes pretty much bug out of his head and he freezes up for a moment. "Lord have mercy," he mumbles. Definitely not the gruff villain voice he'd started with.

I actually do have a little experience with magic, but it's not a kind I'm used to. My guess is that they throw a ton of different stuff into the workings of the City.
