Question for 100k SN fic: to Include, or Not to Include? That is my Question.

So one of the things I've been wanting/planning to include in my 100k_supernova mirror!fic (tentatively titled Union of the Fixed and the Volatile) are news articles, snippets from history books, and bits of IRL classics re-written for the mirror!verse. I'm used to including things like quotes in stories as pagebreaks, but I'm a weee bit wary of

Well...I think it's interesting. So my vote is that you should do it. I think it'll help with the overall atmosphere of the fic.
