Again, nothing profound to add to the dialogue with this one... There are bits I just love - And somehow, it doesn't add up to a full, cohesive favorite episode

I think the biggest problem is that way too much screen time is take up by other people. Bodie and Doyle aren't in it that much, and we have long drawn-out scenes of Mickey just walking around, looking depressed. Good job by Ian Mc.
Maybe that's it - I really, really like the Mickey storyline and get engaged when there is dialog around it, but there does seem to be an awful lot of walking and non-verbal thinking and set up stuff. Perhaps it would have done the episode a service to whittle some of that out.
The last scene between Mickey and Doyle was very well acted by both men and has always remained in my mind.
I especially love that last couple of lines between Cowley and the Lads - It says a lot about all of them. I love that Cowley is not willing to let anyone forget that Mickey acted criminally - And that Doyle can't let go of how tragically/unjustly Mickey was treated. It's a defining character moment for both of them and a really well written scene (dialog-wise.)
Not one of my favs either but I do like it. It's just that I can't get myself to like Mickey. I feel sorry for him and everything but I just don't like him. He gives me the creeps. But the lads look great throughout the whole episode, don't they?
I love what a great job the actor playing Mickey did - making him sympathetic but also kind of nuts and unlikable. There's this one little detail that I always notice which grosses me out but also impresses me because it's such a small thing and so realistic: That scene where Mickey is having the nightmare and wakes up... There's a small line of sleep-drool coming out of his mouth. I just think that's amazing how much realism that adds to the character/show.
Not one of my fave eps either. Like already mentioned before, there's too much focus on other people. The storyline isn't bad at all and the actor, who played MH, did a very good job with. Way too little time with the lads, but when they are on, they are looking gorgeous, so I can leave with it :)

That part always gives me the creeps, it is played absolutely fantastic, but it's just .... well... umm ....*yuk* If you know what I mean. It would be interesting, for me anyway, to see the actor in an other role. I just know him as MH, so I'm just a bit curious.
