These are dark and troubling times. I went to order 2"x3" PostIts today and there were none. NONE. Not at Office Depot, or Staples, or Corporate Express... I emailed my supply rep - They have been discontinued

It's a sad day for mankind. 2x3 PostIts have gone the way of the Dodo and the drive in theater. Imagine what they will go for on eBay a couple of years from now... I think I just made my fortune (I still have two pads in my desk.)

What is the world coming to?! There are plenty for sale on the net, if that helps at all! I feel your pain. *snirk* Really, though, that is the most common size to buy. I have a pack in my desk at work.

I will certainly be stocking up from the small suppliers for my own personal use but it doesn't really help me at work - And pretty soon those will be gone and then it's *really* over.

What's so puzzling about this is why did they so systematically eliminate this one size (they have about six standard sizes.) One get's used to the discontinuation of the color lines - they come and go - but virtually overnight, 2x3 PostIts were purged *entirely* from the three big office suppliers catalogs and they aren't even available from the clone producers (it's more than just 3M that stopped making them.)

They have disappeared mysteriously, like the bees.

I'm not just annoyed and outraged - I'm puzzled and just a little bit afraid. I don't take to change well and I have abandonment and hoarding issues.

Tell me about it. I expect an answer from those bastards - Who, BTW, still have the damn things listed on their product page!!! I'd love to be proven wrong - maybe the suppliers misunderstood - Maybe a factory burned down or something and production was halted temporarily and they will be back eventually...?
