It ended perfectly ... John and Jo a step away from having hot sex ... off to download the final instalment. Thank you very much for providing me with more play time!

Make em last... ;-)

Of course, we have that new show coming... I'll see if I have the energy to cap that when it comes.

I'm afraid that's it ladies... Word on the street is that JJD is truly finished. Asshats. The least they could of done was killed everyone off in a giant hail of gunfire or something. I absolutely HATE shows that end, *know* they are ending, and leave everything hanging as though they were coming back next week. >:-P

Did they truly know it was going to end when they were shooting this episode? If they did, it does seem like they would have tried to resolve some of the issues.

Ok, maybe the hail of gunfire thing has been done... In my deepest heart of hearts, I want *all* the women to realize what a prick he is and leave him lonely and broken. And then, years from now, when his sex drive is at long last stone cold dead, I think he and George will remarry as friends in a marriage of companionship. I know - :::gag::: - But I can't help it... It just needs to be.Lol, I wouldn't have counted on that. My dad was eighty-three when he died and his was stil going strong. I think those kind of men never stop their games. It's too much a part ( ... )

Yeah, my GGGrandpa has his 21st child at age 65. That always seemed crazy to me but you know, I could see Martin having another and he's almost there. Of course, Martin wouldn't be having his *21st* child if he did. Before you ask, GGGrandpa wore out two wives in the process - 21 kids was the product of three women, not one. ;-)

Awww! :(

You said it! Your alternative sounds nice and angsty, as well as just.

I think when they are both tired and just looking for a friend to keep their beds/lives warm, they will realize they are the perfect couple. They understand each other.

Love that cheesy picture! It's a real "c'mon, ladies, you know you want to sit here" face, isn't it? I think your scenario for wrapping up the series is spot-on. Although it's hard to imagine a future so far distant that JJD's sex-drive is finally dead...

And sadly, it works. I think he's cute as a button. Not that I'd *touch* him, mind you. Not without a big ole' can of Lysol. ;-)

Thank god one woman didn't have to drop out 21 kids - that would defeat even the love-interest of M'Lud. Remind me from where I know your icon (is it John Castle?) - give me British dramas contemporary to Martin's as that's as far as my memory will stretch. *g*

Yes, that's John Castle - I run a website/screen cap gallery: http://www.johncastlegallery.com

The icon is from a Miss Marple episode: http://www.johncastlegallery.com/gallerysubpgs/MA.html

...that would defeat even the love-interest of M'Lud.

ROTFLMAO! Like some grotesque, self-defeating, alien creature... It kills off the female in the process of mating!

Actually, I do have a bit of a horror about GGGrandpa - I've often thought just that... That he literally wore out the first two. Ick. Family history is that the first two wives died (possibly in childbirth.) The third wife was the 16 year old girl he brought into the home to take care of all the kids. EWWWWWWW!
