Madison looks like it's been through a blender... Shreded tree bits *everywhere*. Aparently a tree fell over one block from me (blocking the whole road and probably crushing a car or two), but I walk the other way to the bus so I haven't seen it. I did see several ruined trees up at the Capitol - One pretty much fell over, the others lost enough

I have a bad habit of caring more about trees cut down than most people getting killed I fear, and do like your picture a lot, too, so... just commenting.

I'm afraid I'm the same way... And we've had over three bad tree years in this town - Several rounds of tree destruction (by the City and power companies) have left precious little to loose on nights like last night. Poor darlings.

Ugh... The sound of chainsaws are *everywhere*.
