OK there's this person on ONTD_Political (which is normally a community I like  a lot) who is basically a troll.  He/she is very contrary, and likes to stir up shit.  Most of the time I just ignore her posts, but tonight she (I say she because of her hellaciously annoying icon) provoked me.  In a post she stated: "I think that the resources wasted

Ah, the 'leave them on an ice-flow to float out to sea when they grow useless' school of thought. Sadly, she probably does believe this and feels proud of being such a rationalist.

I just have a very hard time understanding anyone so completely lacking in feeling for mankind. I believe willfully ignoring the suffering of others is wrong. It hurts my soul when I see pictures of starving people. I just can't help thinking this person would see pictures like that and think those people should die because they can't take care of themselves.

Yep. It's a separate community where people post political news, and sometimes there are chats (like during the debates and the inaugural). On Fridays there are open posts where people post macros. And since news stories all require a source, it's a good place to get political news all in one place.

It tends to be a liberal community, with a couple of right wing nut jobs, but this person showed up not that long ago with her terrible icon and I wish should just ago. And yet I can't help feeding her because this time she made me so mad I had to say something.
